Gamma CIF Tax Deductible Donation Opportunity

Our Chapter has been funding three undergrad scholarships per year for the past few years ($700/ea $2,100 total). The majority of the funding is available from the money that is in our Gamma Chapter Investment Fund through our National Foundation. Our current balance of $37K allows us to disburse $1,481 (4% annual disbursement allowance) annually. The remaining balance is covered by individual alumni donations or our Alumni Association bank account. We would like to continue to grow our CIF balance. All donations are tax deductible. In addition, we have an alum that has pledged to match dollar for dollar (up to $2K) any donations made by alumni before 1/31/18. If you would like to make a donation to our Gamma CIF the following are ways you can do it:

By Check: Make check out to Pi Kapp Foundation. Write in comment line Gamma CIF. Send to Pi Kappa Phi Foundation, 2015 Ayrsely Town Blvd Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28273. Any checks dated before 12/31/17 will count towards 2017 even if they arrive/are cashed in early-Jan. All checks dated after 12/31/17 will count towards 2018.

By Credit Card: Call our National Office at 800-929-1904. Choose extension 5732 for Janet in Accounting or extension 5771 for Chris Conner at the Foundation. You can give your credit card info and make your donation on behalf of the Gamma CIF to the Foundation. Chris is there this week and Janet will be in the office next week on Wed/Thu. National Office is only open Wed/Thu next week.
Please let me know if you make a donation on behalf of our Gamma CIF so that I can track donations for the dollar for dollar matching.

Thanks for you time and Happy Holidays.
